Amy Bonis, RYT 500/E-RYT 200
Amy began her yoga journey in the 90s in California, drawn to a nearby Kundalini studio. After moving to NC, she completed her first YTT, which she views as life training, followed by further training in Ashtanga, Pranayama, Meditation, Yin, and Gentle Yoga with studies under Johnny Kest. Passionate about nature, animals, and the healing power of yoga, Amy enjoys sharing this transformative practice with others. Outside of yoga, she works as a mortgage loan officer in Wake Forest and lives on a horse farm with her husband, George. They are nature photographers, support German Shepherd rescue, and sponsor local farming groups.

Ariel Bernstein
Yoga Instructor
Ariel fell in love with yoga in college and has been hooked ever since. Trying out various kinds of yoga at different studios. She completed her 300 hour YTT through the Flow State Institute. She loves flow yoga that focuses on the correct alignment and breath-work. Originally from New York she also lived in California and moved to Raleigh in 2020 with her husband and two kids. Off the mat she loves to be out in nature, reading a great book or doing art with her kids.

Ashleigh Wagoner, M. Ed.
Yoga Instructor
Ashleigh is one of the rare Wake County residents that is actually from NC! She completed her yoga teacher training at Yoba Studio in Raleigh and loves to practice ALL types of yoga from restorative-power. Ashleigh teaches Gentle Flow classes at hOMe, where you are unlikely to run into her nemesis pose- skandasana! A fun fact about Ashleigh is that she is ordained to marry couples in the state of NC.

Ashley Knight, CPT, ERYT-200
Assistant Manager/Yoga Instructor/Reiki Master
Ashley is a Raleigh, NC native with a brief life stint in Tampa, FL. As an ERYT-200 and Reiki Master she infuses the opportunity for mindful movement and energetic opening into each of her classes. Ashley loves any trip to the mountains where she can climb to new heights while connecting with nature. You never know what adventure she is up to next, and neither does she, as she flows with life and embodies the "Be Here Now" mantra. She loves taking a challenging Power Flow and equally loves teaching Restorative and Vinyasa style classes. She believes that Yoga is for every BODY and should be accessible for every ONE.

Christin Schroeder
Yoga Instructor
Christin first tried yoga in the basement of a NYC running store 15 years ago at a beginner friendly "Yoga for Runners" class after suffering from numerous running injuries. That first class was life-changing (there may have been crying in pigeon pose)- she found a new love and began taking classes regularly at Yoga Vida studio in NYC. After hopping around the East Coast and settling in Raleigh when she got married, Christin met Kali while taking her prenatal class and followed her home to hOMe. She recently fulfilled her dream of completing her 200 hour YTT and is honored to begin her teaching journey at hOMe. Off the mat, she is a pediatric speech-language pathologist. She still enjoys running, often with a stroller or a scooter alongside her, and coaches Girls on the Run.

Colleen Schreffler M.S./M Ed., OTR/L-CLT
Yoga Instructor
Colleen completed her 200 YTT Hatha Style Training through Green Lotus Yoga in Minnesota and relocated to Wake Forest in 2023. Colleen has a passion to teaching yoga to all bodies and personalities. She has desire to serve the community and outreach to those that have not yet experienced and joy and balance of Yoga. Colleen prefers an approachable, simple, but authentic and fun approach to teaching.

Emily Barnhill
Sound Healer
Emily is our resident sound healer; offering an immersive, meditative experience with her beautiful singing bowls. She loves to practice flow style yoga, sing and plays a variety of instruments! When she practices yoga, she loves three-legged dog and her nemesis pose is crow! Emily loves tropical travel destinations and black olives on her pizza.

Yoga Instructor
An Ohio native, Emily joins the hOMe team with yoga teacher training from YogaRenew and Strala Yoga. She loves to teach a variety of different styles of yoga, but her favorite type to practice is power. She loves olives and banana peppers on her pizza and will travel anywhere with her family and a beach! A fun fact about Emily is that she can write with her foot!!

Haley Root
Yoga Instructor
Haley is a Pittsburgh native who moved to North Carolina in 2006. She discovered her love for yoga while studying in Boone, NC. She has a passion for yoga with fun, heat-building flows as well as yoga for babies and kids. Outside of the studio, she is a medical speech-language pathologist, a hiker who loves spending time in nature, and enjoys making memories with her husband and two daughters.

Kali dePreaux-Jensen, MBA
Owner/Yoga Instructor
Kali completed her vinyasa-style yoga teacher training at Embrace Yoga Studio in Fayetteville, NC, and vinyasa is still her favorite style to teach and practice. Her education and career is in accounting, so teaching yoga is the perfect balance to add calm and creativity into her working life. Kali’s greatest passion in life is being a mother to her two amazing children, who you will likely see around the studio! Other passions include rescuing dogs and reading. In addition to teaching yoga, Kali hosts five different book clubs in The Winebrary.

Kandice Scarberry
Yoga Instructor
Kandice is a North Carolina native who completed her 200 hour YTT in April 2024. She stepped on a yoga mat for the first time in October 2022 after her father died. The loss turned her world upside down. On the mat, she found healing and knew she was meant to be a teacher. She enrolled and completed her training at y Respira in Raleigh. Her teaching style is humble, curious and fun. She brings a sense of authenticity to her practice and humor to the movements. Outside of yoga, Kandice enjoys a LONG list of activities. This includes working at a cat shelter on the weekends, practicing martial arts, and spending time with her family at home.
