Class Descriptions
Beginner Flow:
This class is designed for those brand new to yoga as well as those who would like to check in on their alignment in poses they've already been practicing. Poses will be heavily workshopped using a mixture of cuing and demonstration.
hOMe Flow:
Flow (aka Vinyasa Flow) is a style of yoga in which a sequence of poses is strung together to create an ongoing asana experience in connection with the breath. This class be upbeat and movement will be continuous. Modifications will be offered in postures as well as the opportunity to deepen to their maximum expression. Prior yoga experience is recommended for this class.
Gentle Flow:
The class focuses on gentle sequences that promote relaxation, flexibility, and mindfulness. With a calm atmosphere and supportive guidance, participants will leave feeling rejuvenated and centered, ready to carry that sense of tranquility into their day. Suitable for all levels.
Slow Flow:
Designed for all levels, participants will explore a series of postures at a slow pace, allowing for deeper stretches and greater body awareness. With a focus on alignment and mindfulness, attendees will leave feeling refreshed, balanced, and centered.
Power Flow
A fast paced sequence focused on strength and toning. Basic knowledge of yoga poses is required for this class.
Go With The Flow:
Come as you are! Your instructor will check in with the class, read the room and provide a flow sequence based on the energy and needs of the class. You never know what you’re going to get!
Vinyasa Flow Yoga:
Vinyasa - To place in a special way, cycle, evolution
Flow - Consciousness, stream, ease, grace
Yoga - Union, integration
Energetic and creative movement synchronized to the rhythm of the breath to unify the body and mind. Classes may be sequenced around a peak pose or a theme.
Reiki & Restore:
An extremely calm and gentle class. Many props will be used to allow the yogi to melt into the postures and experience deep relaxation. Guided meditation will also be incorporated into this practice and it is suitable for all levels. Reiki healing is sprinkled throughout the practice as well.
Morning Movement:
A gentle way to begin awakening the body and mind for the day ahead. This class is suitable for all levels.
Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga:
This class provides a nurturing space for expectant and new mothers to connect with their bodies and their babies. Participants will explore gentle postures and breathing techniques specifically designed to support the changing body during pregnancy and the recovery process after childbirth. With a focus on community and shared experiences, attendees will leave feeling empowered and supported on their journey through motherhood. No experience necessary.
Baby & Me Yoga:
Designed for pre-crawlers and their caregivers, fostering connection and bonding through gentle movement and play. Participants will enjoy simple poses and stretches that promote relaxation and well-being for both baby and caregiver. The class incorporates interactive activities that encourage sensory exploration and motor development, all in a warm, supportive environment. Caregivers can share moments of joy and mindfulness with their little ones while building a strong foundation for future movement and connection.
Yoga Sculpt:
An upbeat practice incorporating weights into yoga postures with a focus on strength and toning. The weights are optional; the practice will still be similar to a power hour without them. Prior yoga experience is recommended for this class.
Stretch & Restore:
A rejuvenating blend of gentle stretching and restorative poses designed to release tension and promote deep relaxation. Participants will be guided through a series of soothing movements that enhance flexibility and calm the mind. No experience necessary.
Candlelight Yin:
This class creates a serene atmosphere for deep relaxation and introspection. Participants will hold traditional Yin poses for an extended time, promoting flexibility and inner calm. No experience necessary.
Yoga For Runners:
Designed for runners, bikers, or any athletes who are looking to gain flexibility, strength, and balance. This beginner-friendly class will stretch and strengthen areas of the body prone to running injuries or imbalances. It will also teach you how to integrate the body, breath, and mind to stay focused in the final miles of a race. This class is for the runner who is interested in improving form and avoiding injury or the yogi who is interested in signing up for their first race.
Kids Yoga:
A fun and engaging kids' yoga class! Perfect for ages 3-10(ish), this session combines movement, storytelling, and mindfulness to help children build strength, flexibility, and focus. Through imaginative poses and playful activities, kids will explore their bodies, learn breathing techniques, and discover the joy of yoga in a safe and supportive environment.
